With the upcoming 2024 presidential and congressional election coming up it is imperative that people understand WHO Donald Trump is and WHY he is so Dangerous.
Donald Trump is NOT an intellectual, something he is proud of and uses as an asset.
He has a BA in Economics from the Wharton School which he only obtained through the usual family and money connections. What Donald Trump DOES have is a very good understanding of people and the way they experience things - something he uses to his advantage in a very shrewd manner. In addition, Donald Trump has no scruples and has no problems causing other people harm if he perceives them interfering in his goals in any manner. The January 6 insurrection is a prime example how Donald Trump uses people for his own purposes and how far he is willing to go. He was actually contemplating using the military to subvert the formalization of the 2020 presidential election. Several people died as a result of Donald Trump's actions, something he has never shown any remorse for.
Donald Trump uses the school yard bully method to attack people as a preferred tool.
Finally, Donald Trump LOVES attention and admiration and getting the presidency has for him been the ultimate dream come true.
Why is Donald Trump so dangerous? Exactly because he is not an intellectual. He has no ideas of his own, so he needs others to provide him with an agenda.
Which is where the Conservative Partnership Institute (C.P.I.) comes into the picture.
The C.P.I. is a coalition of Ultra Right-Wing groups which is providing Donald Trump with their agenda which is called the 2025 Project.
The 2025 Project was primarily conceived by the Heritage Foundation and calls for a dismantling of the current Democratic Society and institutionalizing a Right-Wing Totalitarian State where only those people are allowed to work in the government who agree with this Totalitarian State idea. In this plan, many individual rights are taken away and the plan even calls for the imprisonment of anyone disagreeing with this vision.
The project plan itself contains 900 pages, which doesn't make it an easy read, but this Wikipedia page provides a fairly decent abbreviated presentation.
An Internet search will provide many additional resources discussing the 2025 Project.
What does this mean for the average American who does NOT want to live in a Right-Wing Fascist Totalitarian State?
